One major difference between the two keys is that the yubikey neo offers you NFC and USB while the yubikey 4 does not offer any NFC wireless connectivity. The yubikey 4 has a standard USB- c while the neo does not have a standard connector.

Other solutions like Yubikey have only 2 slots and if you lose the key, you also lose the password stored inside. This makes OnlyKey the only product that I know of that will do the job of securely storing multiple passwords. The disadvantage of OnlyKey for some is that it does not have the simplicity of a mass-market consumer device.
